Mother and daughter, estranged spouse, marriage, relationships ...

Hi, my question is about an Italian movie, probably made in the last 20 years. In the beginning, a woman is forced to bring up a daughter on her own as she is estranged from her husband or her husband doesn?t want to be with them. She decides on a name for the child. I think her parents help her to raise the girl and tell her eventually that they will give her their house as they wish to retire/move to the country to buy a farm and I think the movie follows the life path of several women.

(I dozed off through some of it). However, in the end, it shows a woman much older, I think with blonde-grey hair and the female lead (I think) who is very attractive, is looking in the mirror, putting on lipstick and a white head scarf. Later we then see her with a man, waiting to go up the stairs to a church, she is wearing a dark suit (navy jacket and skirt) and I think clutching a small bouquet of flowers, perhaps she is remarrying her husband (I am not sure?).

I think the final scene (tear jerking) is the mother, sitting in a chair and now elderly, reminiscing or contemplating her life.
